Challans

Didier Rousseau will be in Vendée on Sunday the 19th of September in Challans, for the day of the "patrimoine" (a day when all historic places are open for public visit). He will be giving there a concert on the theme "Father and Son" with music by Carl Philipp Emanuel BACH and Jean-Sebastian BACH.

Cintegabelle

Organ concert in Cintegabelle, close to Toulouse, on Sunday the 20 th of September 2009 at 17:00. Didier will play works by J.F. DANDRIEU, Fr. C. ARAUXO, J.S. BACH, D. BUXTEHUDE, Ch. ERBACH et G. A. SORGE.

Lavaur

During the « estivales de Lavaur », on Sunday the 19th of July 2009, at 5 o’clock p.m, on the Cavaillé-coll (1876) organ of Lavaur’s Cathedral, Didier Rousseau wil play César FRANCK (1822 - 1890), Franz LISZT (1811 - 1886) and Max REGER (1873 - 1916).

Carcassonne

Montaigu

Didier Rousseau was born on the 5th of december 1959 in Nantes. He first studied Piano with Jacques Bisciglia there at the Conservatoire National de Région. He went on with organ with Micheline Lagache, studied writing and harmony - counterpoint and fugue - with Christian Villeneuve. He then studied organ in Angers with Jean-Louis Gil who made him discover the wealth and beauty of Johann Baptist Joseph Maximilian Reger's organ music. He went to Toulouse to the great Xavier Darasse. He now completes his studies and listens to his fellow musicians: clavecinist and organist Jan Willem Jansen and organist Michel Bouvard.
Didier gives concerts and recitals but also organ and piano lessons. If you wish a particular ceremony (wedding, mass, etc.) do not hesitate to contact him.
